I have not worked out if a similar mod can be done to the Version 2 DC board as I have never had one in my possession to work with. One would have to figure out where the "Not 2.5 or 5.0" signal originates for V2. Disabling the H.B. signal should be easy. Cut the trace to pin 2/52, which would do the same thing as the GW4ALG mod linked above.
