My twins came back from being worked on by Ron, WB4HFN.? While on a HW-16 budget 50 years ago, I coveted these rigs and thought it would be cool to try them after a slight delay.? Had my first QSO with K6GVG on 40CW today.
The questions:
1.? Are there clearer driver and PA tuning instructions than those in the T4XC e-copy manual???
2.? Is there a way to lower that 850 Hz CW sidetone volume?
3.? Is there a way to turn down the volume of my transmitted CW signal in the R4C when operating both RX and TX; using my TX signal as the sidetone?
4.? Seems to me a good way to operate CW is using both radios; spotting my transmit signal on the station that I wish to contact, then using the receiver as a BFO...?
