Drake L4 and the Harbach soft start mod...?

 

Hi,

Question. What differences are there in the Drake L4 vs the L4B that may negate or change the installation of the ?

The L4 has a supply similar to the. L4B and L7. ? All I remember off the top of my head is that the 50 watt bleeders are of a different value in the L4.

The L4 bleeders are double the value...and are in parallel.? ?The L4B / L7? bleeders are 1/2 the value....and are in series.?

I tossed all the bleeders in all 4 of my L4PS? supplies.? ?U already have? a 100k eq resistor across each lytic.? ?The +120 vdc cutoff bias scheme in the drake amps is fubar. A 50-100k @ 3 watt mof resistor is wired in series with the CT.....and center pole contacts of the 3PDT TR relay are re-wired, so the new resistor is hunted on TX.?
