I need to go find a crystal to put my TR4C on 28.5-29.0 Mhz.? Since I don't have one installed does anyone know the crystal freq. required.

The TR-4C was originally supplied with a 43.0 Mhz xtal for that range. Back in the '70's there was far more activity above 28.5 than there is now.?

The 42.5 Mhz xtal for 28.0 - 28.6 (+++) coverage was optional, as was the 43.6 Mhz xtal for 29.1-29.7 Mhz.

If you look at the pictorial of the chassis top in the manual, you will see the xtal positions marked.
