About 18 months ago, when I acquired the mythical C-7 console,
I predicted a TR-7 was in my future if I did not find a C-4
replacement front panel.

It turns out I was right :-)

Maybe I should add a little context. The OP was relating what he said to his XYL when she asked why be bought a radio. It was tongue-in-cheek.
