The PCBs in the transformer is no really much of a hazard to people on the skin.? Main hazard is that it does not break down and can get into the food chain.? I have one that is? over 55 years old

One complication with Cantennas: Used/hamfest ones may contain transformer oil with dangerous PCBs. I have one that I drained - took the fluid to the local hazardous waste disposal - cleaned severely
