Re: 1-A on eBay

Rick W4XA

Many Drake items in my collection Including the C-Line I bought new, TR-4C, TR-6, TC-2/6, SC-2/6, CC-1,? L-4B, all in very nice condition....

I don't have a 2-A/B/C (nice receivers) but don't have any room for them either!

I only live about 15 miles from Federal Way but that thing is so ugly, I wouldn't drive over there if he was "giving" it away!

Shipping between EU and US is obscenely high. That’s why Nick could make out better buying from within the EC.?

Re: 1-A on eBay

The main “unobtanium” items in these are the knobs, cabinet and other trim items. Even the transformers can be worked out, if needed, though I’m discovering that many 2-B transformers, etc. are the same but are marked differently.?

I just bought a NOS T6 (2-B designator) that is identical to the “3K LPF”.?

The price is in the stratosphere for an “as-is” example but perhaps someone could negotiate.?

I don’t have the link because it’s a pain to copy from my phone browser but there’s only one of these available…

What you pay from the EU supplier could be offset somewhat by cheaper shipping.?

Carl, sorry you couldn't make it into the net.

You must have missed it when I passed it off to Doug, W9DCQ and he made a call for stations that I didn't hear. He only heard 1 station. Hope things go better for you next week. Bill,W9MXQ will be the NCS. He's located in Wis.?

We have 5 NCS stations and they all listen for stations trying to get in to the net and will relay them in if needed.?
