Re: Well, it ain't T11
On my T4A, T11 and a few others were tuned mostly in, closed. In the final tuning exercise, they were nearly all the way out of the core, with the brass screw part mostly exposed. Good luck. David

Re: Well, it ain't T11
I hate it when that happens! Keep at it...? could be the transistor but make sure there aren't any solder splashes or bad joints. I did recently find a bad factory joint on that same board. 73, Gary

Well, it ain't T11
I changed out T11 in my 11-tube R-4A and no joy. I may have put in a bad transistor. Sigh. I was getting some sort of beat note with the SSB/CW AM switch but even that is gone. Ugh. Steve Wedge,

Re: Looking For Friction Sleeves for PTO
Neoprene gasoline tubing is also used. It is important to cut the tubing ends squarely in order to provide the maximum contact surface at both ends. Ken WA2LBI wrote:

Re: Looking For Friction Sleeves for PTO
I believe that some hams have used surgical tubing as a substitute. Some hardware stores (e.g. True Value) used to sell it. 73, Evan, K9SQG On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 10:02:41 AM EDT, Tim Babbitt via

Looking For Friction Sleeves for PTO
GM I am looking for friction sleeves for the Drake pto's. Would anybody know where to find them or know what material the sleeves were made of? Would seem easy enough to home brew something? Thanks
