Agree with the NTC current limiter comments of '0C and 'RF.

You can measure the actual power into the AC-4 with a strangely named "Kill-a-Watt" AC power meter; they work well.

TX will be more than RX, but duty cycle is low unless you are running RTTY which is not good for sweep tubes.

I have used CL-70, 80, and 90 in various pieces of gear to limit inrush, with good result.

For AC-4 I used either CL-80 or CL-90; YMMV.

As 'RF said you do not want these to get too hot.
