Not much difference among the three. The T-4X only has four-pole sideband filters, so the carrier and unwanted sideband suppression are inferior. Strictly speaking, it will probably not meet current "Purity of Emission" standards. Of NO concern on CW or AM, but might make you unpopular with nearby hams, especially if you decide to add a linear amp!! Most likely no one would notice unless they happened to live next door and operate the same bands and modes you do!! The B and C models have eight pole filters so no problem. The B and C have FET PTOs, which are slightly more stable than the Bipolar PTO, but not significantly.
Aside from that, the other differences are cosmetic. The T-4X and B have five kHz marks on dial with 1 kHz marks on knob skirt, (kinda like the 2-B!,) the C has dual disc dial mechanism.
Any of them will benefit from a small fan on the back of the Final cage, blowing OUT, to reduce heat and extend final tube life.

I presently have a Drake 2B Receiver and I'm thinking about mating a
Drake T-4X, or T-4XB, or T-4XC. Of those three choices, which one
would you pick to match to a 2B receiver. I'm thinking of using this
setup mostly for AM operation. Any and all comments will be
gratefully received.
Thanks and 73,
