I wish I had better news, but the loss of 23andMe would be a huge loss to the genealogy community, even with the difficulties of working with a system not set up for us genealogy researchers. It is the second-largest DNA database, and the first one I tested at. The founder seems to be floundering rather than reaching out to those who could help the company survive, so we'd best preserve our data as best we can.
