TM-D710 Compatibility

Hi

Due to me popping the COM port on my Kenwood D710, I'm only left with the DATA port.? Whilst I don't see an explicit PTT pin on the diagram, I note it is listed as compatible.

Can someone confirm this is the case?? Thank you so much.

Are you referring to the six pin minidin port on the D-710?

The DINAH works fine with that supporting the PTT signal.

Make sure J3 on the DINAH is open so COS does not disable the sound driver on the computer.

A 6 pin to 6 pin cable works fine.

Make sure which ever of the two systems you choose to use has external data enabled.
