information for ourselves, the world must know!

the Jews in the Holocaust *
On the 10th of Tevet, the “General Day
of Kaddish,” The Gush Etzion Foundation will be embarking on a fundraising
campaign for a unique one-of-a-kind project – The “Holocaust Responsa
Database.” This is a rare treasure documenting about 2000 moral and halakhic
questions that Jews asked the rabbis and intellectuals in the Holocaust. The
questions and answers stir the soul and reveal the inconceivable reality of the
lives of our Jewish brethren on levels we did not know about until today. This
treasure was collected in Gush Etzion, Israel, at the Netivei Ha-Halacha
Institute, but its value is so significant that it should be accessible
digitally for all Jews in Israel and around the world.
