Houston area 23cm

 

Good evening,?

Anyone in the Houston area using 23cm? I recently got a 9700 and would like test and/or get on a net.

I have a 23cm Icom repeater I bought during the HRO "flash sale" last year.? I was going to put in on the air this week.? Not much height, so a "backyard" setup near Silber and I-10.? I'm also a 9700 owner with nothing in the log on 23cm.? Do you know of any existing 23cm repeaters in Houston area?
 

I work at I-10 and Campbell. I will plan to bring my 9700 one day and see if I can work your repeater, if it is on the air. Also, W5ZM replied to my post and said there is a repeater on 1292. The only repeater I have heard of was in the galleria and it was supposedly decommissioned sometime year.?

My info is good on qrz.

Sounds good.? I picked up the repeater from my storage earlier today.? I'll cobble some antennas together this weekend.? I'll let you know.
