23cm on-glass antenna?

 

Does anyone make an on-glass 23cm mobile antenna...that actually works as well....installation issues on a van are making other modes of installing antennas difficult....73 Mark/k5jmr in Louisiana

a lip mount or fender mounted antenna..

There are no commercial made 23cm through glass antennas. You might as well? make a

? wave roof mount non-ground plane.

I do not know if one is made or not. However, I have had nothing but bad experiences with on the glass antennas, over the years. If it were me, I would find an alternative.

Larsen made one in the 90's that performed very well for me. I would look there.

Wow, a quick search of the "Pulse Electronics" website (current owner of Larsen Antenna products) shows 10 models in the "Kulglass" line

NONE of them cover 1.2
Yet I did buy one (a 1.2 GHz Kulglass) in the mid 90's...

Guess I'm glad I still have it...

Tom,Basically I use my simplex 1294.500 remote base to link back to a central area when I'm out beyond a 5-mile distance from local users of 1.2 FM operation.....73 from Jim // KE4NZG.
