Just in case anyone is wondering - you can install the ID-1 software under

Vista and it does work even though the CD is vintage 2004. I'm running Vista

Home Premium on an HP laptop and the ID-1 software sets up a USB serial port

at COM6. The RC-24 control head talks to the virtual display and vice versa.
