Re: What antenna do you use for a Base and/or Repeater on 1.2 GHz?
N0NAS reminded me there is a good, solid commercial antenna for 1.2. We
have one on a government site. Ten years so far.

Re: What antenna do you use for a Base and/or Repeater on 1.2 GHz?
We use Comet GP95s - lots of them. They are a decently sturdy antenna - but
have a fatal, 100% flaw. The 6MM bolt on the base always loosens and the
antenna always starts to wobble and spin, causing

Tom -?
It was good to see you at the Jefferson hamfest.?
The RF folder in the Files area of this group has several 1.2 GHz antennas described.?
I understand the Hustler Spirit commercial grade 1.2

Re: What antenna do you use for a Base and/or Repeater on 1.2 GHz?
We're using a GP-21 on top of the 250 ft. tower at the repeater site. At
home, I use a Comet CYA-1216E. Both have been in service for nearly ten
years and are doing very well.

Wondering what antenna you are using for 1.2 GHz for a Base or a Repeater?
I've set up a Comet GP-21 for event use at times.? However, fiberglass
antennas don't seem to last as long as some

Used ID-1 frequency range starts at 1260 MHz
Hi,
I’ve just received a used ID-1 that I bought off of eBay. ?Strangely, I can only tune from 1260 MHz to 1300 MHz. ?All the documentation I can find says that the range should be 1240-1300 MHz.

Re: Query - any D-Star 1240-1300 DD networks still in use?
Erik,
Good point. If ppl already have 9700s for other purposes, though, and are
looking for another use, then 23cm might be considered since it's already
"in the box". That's what some of us locally
