Al, ? I am currently running an ID-1 on two Windows 10 Pro PCs. ? As I recall I down loaded the ?drivers I have installed from the ICOM Japan or corporate website.? I do not recall any issues when installing them. ? A thought just occurred – while I don’t recall you may needto “run” them as an “Administrator”. ? I have a new machine and the ID1 drivers won't install. Any help greatly appreciated

Buy a spare D-STAR controller?
Not sure who needs a spare D-STAR controller, but HRO is having a
huge sale on the ID-RP2C controller with the RS-RPC3 G3 software
for only $169.95!?? Sale ends 8/31/2020.
Maybe they are just trying to reduce stock.?? Not long ago, they
had a sale on D-STAR modules, which I don't see on their site anymore.
I have no affiliation with HRO, I just shop there.?? :)

The ID-1 protocol is half duplex at around 80 kilobits so supports streaming anything very poorly.? We tried basic SIP phones that was not good.? It does fine for basic web type data entry apps, messages, etc.? TCP, that could allow retransmission is a plus.? It could maybe support a minimalist slow scan at the lowest possible resolution.? In the upper right of that diagram, they show an IP camera feeding directly
into an ID-1.?? Has anyone tried that????
