3 Blocks On Texture SB Tut Template ? Elaine's Artistry Ginger ? Pamela House, tubed by Kathy Written by Elaine (?Elaine's Artistry) January 2021 This tutorial is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is unintentional and coincidental. Tip: If using my templates for tags you may resize and add borders if you like. I do require a credit on your tag for the template. Template ? EA Written for PSP 9 but should work in other versions of PSP with minor adjustments. Skill Level: Intermediate Supplies Needed: Tube of your choice Taller than wide will work best. Template- 3 blocks on texture templatea.pspimage (Available Here and Here) Texture - linenPOP. jpg (Available Here and Here) Preparation: Save the Texture in your PSP Texture Folder Open the 3 blocks on texture templatea.pspimage in PSP. Minimize for now. Performance Notes: For users of PSP X and higher: If your Manual Color Correction icon is not visible on your toolbar you may wish to do the following to place the icon on your toolbar for future use: View > Customize In left pane scroll down and left click on All Commands. In the right-hand pane scroll until you find Manual Color Correction. Click and drag it to where you want it on your toolbar. All settings will remain the same unless otherwise stated. Let's have some fun.........:) 1. File > Open Open tube of your choice in PSP. 2. Window > Duplicate (Shift+D) Close original. 3. Image > Resize Settings: Resample using = Smart Size Lock aspect ratio = Checked Resize all layers = Checked Width = Will self-adjust Height = 365 pixels or less *Note: We will be able to resize again later in the tut if need be. 4. Adjust > Sharpness > Unsharp Mask Settings: Radius = 5.00 Strength = 10 Clipping = 5 Luminance only = Unchecked (If needed) 5. Dropper Tool Left click and select a light color for the Foreground color. Right click and select a med. dark color for the Background color. Very important tip: When selecting colors it is important to select colors that coordinate, a light and darker shade from same color are recommended for a neat looking letter. Also with the font when adding text etc. if using a dark background then select a light color or dark color on light background. 6. Edit > Copy Minimize your tube for now. 7. Activate the 3 blocks on texture templatea.pspimage 8. Window > Duplicate (Shift + D) Close original. 9. Layers Palette Highlight (Activate) Raster 2 10. Layers > Delete 11. Manual Color Correction Settings: Preset target color = Unchecked Manual target color = Checked Freehand selection = Unchecked Source = #c0c0c0 Target = Your Foreground (light) color *Note: In PSP version 9 and lower it will be Adjust > Color Balance > Manual Color Correction. 12. Edit > Paste > Paste As New Layer (Your Tube) 13. Move Tool Move your Tube to the position as desired. ****Optional You may resize your tube again and sharpen if needed. If you resize: Image > Resize Settings: Width & Height = as desired Use the percentage option and Resize and move to your liking. Resize all layers = Unchecked *Note - You may also choose to use your Raster Deform Tool to resize. If used be sure to click the Pan Tool Icon immediately afterwards to deactivate the Raster Deform Tool. 14. Skill Level: Intermediate Supplies Needed: Tube of your choice 3 different Textures L Wood.jpg @nn_250410_TXT_031_tdstudio.jpg EF_sibermuster.jpg Picture tube - black dotted lines All supplies (Here and Here) Plugins: No outside plugins used Notes: This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. Preparation: Save the 3 Textures in your PSP Texture Folder Save the black dotted lines in your Picture Tube Folder All settings will remain the same unless otherwise stated. 1. File > Open Open your tube/mist 2. Windows > Duplicate (Shift+D) 3. Image > Resize Settings: Resample using = Bicubic Lock aspect ratio = Checked Resize all layers = Checked Width = will self adjust Height = No greater than 270 pixels *Note we can resize this again later if need be. 4. Adjust > Sharpness > Unsharp Mask Settings: Radius = 5.00 Strength = 10 Clipping = 5 Luminance only = Unchecked (If needed) 5. Dropper Tool: Left click and select a very light color for your Foreground color. Right click and select a medium color for your Background. Written for PSP 9 Skill Level: Intermediate Supplies Needed: Tube of your choice Plugin: Filter Factory Gallery D - Infini Tiles Available (Here) Preparation: Install plugin if needed. Performance Notes: All settings will remain the same unless otherwise stated. Let's have some fun.........:) 1. File > Open Open tube of your choice in PSP. 2. Window > Duplicate (Shift+D) Close original. 3. Image > Resize Settings: Resample using = Smart Size Lock aspect ratio = Checked Resize all layers = Checked Width = Will self-adjust Height = 350 pixels or less 4. Layers > New Raster Layer 32. Layers > Arrange > Bring to Top 33. Add your Watermark and credits. 34. File > Export > JPEG Optimizer Settings: Compression = 15-20 (or your choice).
