1. File > Open
Your Tube
?
2. Window >?Duplicate (Shift?+ D)
Close original
?
3. Dropper Tool
Left click on?your tube to?pick?a
Medium color?for your Foreground
Right click to pick a Light
color for your Background
?
4. Image >?Resize
Settings:

Resample using?= Smart Size

Lock aspect ratio?= Checked

Resize all layers?= Checked?

Width?= No more than?250 Pixels

Height?= No more than?350 Pixels

?

*Optional

5. Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen

?

6. Edit > Copy

(your tube)

7. File >?New > New Image

Settings:
Width?=?2000 Pixels (or your choice)
Height?=?400 Pixels
Image Characteristics =
Raster Background
Color = Transparent checked

8. Flood Fill Tool
Settings:

Match mode?= None

Use all layers?= Not checked

Blend mode?= Normal

Opacity?= 100

Left?click to fill with Foreground
color

9. Adjust > Add/Remove Noise >
Add Noise
Settings:
Gaussian = Checked
Noise = 8 %
Monochrome = Checked

Frame Size = 60
Contrast = 100

Direction = 255
Frequency = 77

Lower opacity to 80

Seamless Tiling

Settings:

Mirror?= Checked

Vertical = Checked

Vertical offset (%) = 0

Width (%) = 50

Transition (%) = 50

16. File >?New > New Image

Settings:
Width?=?510 Pixels
Height?=?400 Pixels

17. Edit > Paste As New Layer
(your tube)

18. View > Rulers

19. Move Tool
Using your Left arrow key
move your?tube over to the Left
side leaving about 5
pixels from the edge and/or
top and bottom

20. Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
Settings:
Vertical?& Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 65
Blur = 5.00
Color = Black
Shadow on new layer =?Unchecked
*Do not add a drop shadow
to a misted tube*

21.?Layers > Duplicate

22. Image > Mirror
?
23. Image > Flip

tubes now to your own liking
or leave as is

25. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible

Change your Foreground to the
Two Tube Pattern we just created
Settings:
Angle = 0
Scale = 100
Texture = Unchecked

27. Activate your Working Canvas
?
28. Layers > New Raster Layer
?
29. Selection Tool > Custom selection
Settings:
Top = 0
Left = 300
Right = Width of your canvas
(i.e 2000)
Bottom = 400

30. Flood Fill Tool
Left click to fill selection with
your Pattern
?
31. Selections?> Select None
?
32. Layers Palette
Lower opacity to 10-20
(your choice--keeping it text
friendly)

33. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible
?
34. Edit > Paste As New Layer
(your tube)

35. Move Tool
Move your tube over to the Left
side and adjust to your liking

36. Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
*Do not add a drop shadow
to a misted tube*

37. Add any text and a
drop shadow to your text
if you choose

38. Layers > New Raster Layer
?
39. Add your Watermark
?
40. File >?Export > JPEG Optimizer
Settings:
Set Compression value to @ 20-25
