Let’s get started

STEP 1

Open your PSP (Paint Shop Pro)

Open your graphic – duplicate – close original.

Select dark color for Foreground – light color for background.

Set the Foreground to Gradient

An easy way to add color to your border.

When you want to add a border you go to,

Image – Add Borders

Right click on the Color box.

In the bottom left corner are your color selections, so all you have to do is click the color you need.

STEP 2

Image – Add Borders – 3 – light color

Image – Add Borders – 5 – dark color

Image – Add Borders – 3 –?light color

Selections – Select All

Selections – Modify – Contract – 11

Effects – 3D Effects – Cutout

Repeat cutout using -4,-4, 50, 15.00, black

Selections – Invert

Effects – 3D Effects – Inner Bevel

Selections – Select None

Image – Add Borders – 25 – white

Select border with Magic Wand

Flood Fill with Gradient

Adjust – Add/Remove Noise – Add Noise

Selections – Select None

Image – Add Borders – 3 –?light color

Image – Add Borders – 5 –?dark color

Image – Add Borders – 3 –?light color

Selections – Select All

Selections – Modify – Contract – 11

Selections – Invert

Effects – 3D Effects – Inner Bevel - same setting used earlier

Selections – Select None

Select border with Magic Wand

Flood Fill with Gradient

Adjust – Add/Remove Noise – Add Noise - same setting used earlier

Effects – Plugins – FunHouse – Centripedal Tile

Effects – Plugins – FM Tile Tools – Blend Emboss

Selections – Select None

Repeat Step 4

For the embellishments

?

Layers – New Raster Layer

Copy your tube embellishment and paste it as a new selection on your framed image.

Place in the left corner of your border.

Click 1 time once the embellishment is in the place you wish it.

Effects – 3D Effects – Drop Shadow

Selections – Select None

Layers – Duplicate

Image – Mirror

Layers – Merge – Merge Down

Layers – Duplicate

Image – Flip

Layers – New Raster Layer

?Add your watermark or name to your work.

Layers – Merge – Merge All

Image - Resize - 450H

Save as a jpg compression 20%.
