PSP
Letter Creator
Tube?of choice?(taller?tubes work best)
Texture:
16?? (some PSP versions say 1633)
(Place in your PSP Textures folder)
Masks:
PCFB_SomeDots_Mask
{Embedded at bottom of tutorial}
(Place in your PSP Masks folder)

**Performance Notes: Settings will remain the same unless otherwise stated**
Let's Create!
1. File, Open, tube?
2. Duplicate tube?(Shift+D) & close original
3. Resize your tube to no more than 300 pixels W or 350 pixels H using Smart Size
4. Adjust, sharpness, sharpen (if necessary)
5. Use your dropper tool and from your tube?choose a? medium/dark color
place medium/dark color in background (right click)
**You will be chosing a lighter color later**
6. Edit, copy your tube and minimize
7. File, new, new image:
Width:?150?pixels
Height:?400?pixels
Raster Background checked
Transparent checked
8.?Flood fill with?medium/dark color (right click)
9. Layers, load/save mask, load mask from disk:
Mask:?PCFB_SomeDots_Mask
Source luminance: checked
Fit to canvas: checked
Invert transparency:?checked
Hide all mask: checked
Load
10. Layers, merge, merge group
11. Layers, merge, merge all (flatten)
12. Layers, promote background layer
13. Effects, image effects, seamless tiling:
edge/vertical at default settings
14. Choose a medium/light color from your canvas and place in foreground (left click)
15.?Image, canvas size:
Width: 200
Height: 400
Placement:? Left center
16. Layers, new raster layer
17. Layers, arrange, send to bottom
18. Flood fill with medium/dark color
19.?Image, canvas size:
Width: 1900 pixels? (or your preference)
Height: 400 pixels
Placement: left center?
20. Adjust, blur, gaussian blur
Radius: 35
21. Layers, properties:
Lower opacity to 50
22. Layers, new raster layer
23. Layers, arrange, send to bottom
24. Flood fill with medium/light color (left click)?
25. Adjust, add/remove noise, add noise:
Uniform/monochrome
Noise: 7%
OK
26.?Layers, merge, merge visible?
27. Effects, texture effects, texture:
Texture: 16
Size%: 65
Smoothness: 0
Depth: 1
Ambience: 0
Shininess: 0
Color: White
Angle: 315
Intensity: 50
Elevation: 30
28. Edit, paste, paste as new layer (your tube)
29. Move tool - place tube to your liking
30. Effects, 3D effects, drop shadow: (or use drop shadow of your choice)
V&H: 0
Opacity: 55
Blur: 12
Color: black
Shadow on new layer NOT checked
(Do not use a drop shadow on a misted tube)
31.?Layers, new raster layer:
add any text, accents, and your watermark
32. Layers, merge, merge all (flatten)
33.?File, export,?JPEG optimizer 15
Take to letter creator and make your own stationery
