Embossed Embroidery Tutorial

Supplies Needed:

A?tube of choice

Filters:

Brigits Chaos - Download

Xero - Download

Simple - Download

Skill Level:??Intermediate

Performance Notes: All settings will remain the same unless noted

Let's Begin

1.? File > Open?

Tube of choice

2.? Window > Duplicate?(Shift + D)

Close original.?

3.??Dropper Tool

Choose?a light?color for foreground.

?(Left Click)

Choose a dark?color for background.

?(Right Click)

4.? Image > Resize

Settings:

Width = No more than?260 pixels

Height =?No more than?325 pixels

Resample using = Bicubic

Maintain original print size = Not Checked

Lock aspect ratio =?Checked

Resize all layers = Checked

5.??Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen

*If necessary*

6.? Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow

Settings:

Offset

Vertical = 1

Horizontal = 1

Attributes

Opacity = 65

Blur = 5

Color = Black

Shadow on new layer = not checked

*Do not add a drop shadow to a misted tube*

7.??Edit > Copy

8.??Image > Canvas Size

Settings:

Width =?2000 pixels?*or your preference*

Height =?450 pixels

Lock aspect ratio = Not checked

Placement =?Left middle arrow
