in your PSP and Minimize

Open the ACFC Template

in your PSP and Minimize

Open any Accents in PSP and

minimize

Okay Let's Get Started!!

1. File > Open

Your Tube

2. Window > Duplicate (Shift + D)

Close original

3. Dropper Tool

Left click on your tube to pick a

Dark/Medium color for

your Foreground

Right click to pick a Lighter

color from the same Hue

for your Background

4. Image > Resize

Settings:

Resample using = Smart Size

Lock aspect ratio = Checked

Resize all layers = Checked

Width = No more than 300 Pixels

Height = No more than 370 Pixels

*Optional

5. Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen

6. Activate your

ACFC Mixed Up Pattern

(you may choose to duplicate this

pattern if you wish to use the

tutorial again)

7. Adjust > Color Balance >

Manual Color Correction

Settings:

Manual target color = Checked

Freehand selection = Unchecked

Colors:

Source = #c4c4c4

Target = Background

8. Materials Palette

Change your Foreground to the

Pattern we just colorized

Settings:

Angle = 0

Scale = 100

Texture = Unchecked

Activate your Top Layer

(Credits)

11. Layers > Delete

(back on your working canvas)

Arrange to your liking on the

Left hand side

Vertical & Horizontal = 0

Opacity = 65

Blur = 8.00

Color = Black

Shadow on new layer = Unchecked

*Do not add a drop shadow

to a misted tube*

Activate your Middle layer

(Raster 1)

Blend Mode = Luminance (Legacy)

Move your tube just down slightly

and to the right a little so that we

can see the shadow we just made

2. Window > Duplicate (Shift + D)

Close original

3. Dropper Tool
Left click on your tube to pick a

Dark/Medium color for your Foreground

Right click to pick a Light color for

your Background

4. Image > Resize
Settings:

Resample using = Smart Size

Maintain original print size =

Unchecked

Lock aspect ratio = Checked

Resize all layers = Checked

Width = No more than 250 Pixels

Height = No more than 300 Pixels

Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen

5. Edit > Copy

Horizontal Radius = 0.00

Vertical Radius = 0.00

Line Style = Solid

Width = 3.00

Anti-alias = Checked

Start drawing your Rectangle to

the Right of your Tube

Start at 10 Pixels down and pull

all the way past the right edge

(pull the full width of the canvas--

2000 or however wide your

canvas is..past the canvas) and

pull down to about 150 Pixels

22. Objects > Align >

Vert. Center in Canvas

23. Layers > Convert to Raster Layer

24. Effects > Texture Effects > Blinds

25. Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow

26. Move Tool

Using your Up Arrow Key

move this long Rectangle up so

that it starts at the 20 Pixel mark

Open your Template

in your PSP and minimize

Open your Pattern

in your PSP and minimize

Okay Let's Get Started!!

Header

1. File > Open

Your graphic

2. Window > Duplicate (Shift + D)

Close original

3. Dropper Tool
Left click on your graphic to pick a Dark

color for your Foreground

Right click on your graphic to pick a

Medium/Light color

for your Background

4. Image > Resize

Settings:

Resample using = Smart Size

Lock aspect ratio = Checked

Resize all layers = Checked

Width = No more than 550 Pixels

Height = No more than 550 Pixels

*Optional

5. Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen

6. Edit > Copy

(your graphic)

7. Activate your

3. Image > Resize

5. Image > Canvas Size

Width = 2000 Pixels (or your choice)

Height = 400 Pixels

Placement = Center Left

6. Layers > New Raster Layer

7. Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

Left click to fill with your Pattern

9. Layers > New Raster Layer

10. Flood Fill Tool

Fill with your choice of Background

or Foreground color

11. Layers Palette

Lower opacity of this layer to

a text friendly amount

12. Layers > Merge > Merge Down

13. Effects > Image Effects >
