April 14, 2025 Lent: Day 32: Prayer for Political Leaders

“God, while I may not agree with all of the decisions our nation’s political leaders make, I know that You have allowed them to be placed into those positions, and You know what You are doing. Please draw our nation’s leaders back to You. Show them what it means to have a true relationship with You, and help them to follow You, even when doing so is difficult, unpopular or may come at a cost. Please raise up good, Godly leaders for our country, and help me to be loving and respectful even when I disagree, In Jesus Name. Amen��

April 15, 2025 Lent: Day 33: Prayer for Business Leaders

“God, please be with our nation’s business leaders today–both those who oversee large businesses and those who oversee small ones. Please help them make wise decisions that will positively impact the people who work in their companies as well as our nation’s economy as a whole. Please bring them back to You and help them keep their focus on following You and Your will, not just what is profitable or popular, In Jesus Name. Amen��

Good morning friend, here is today's prayer...

Dear Lord God,

Thank You for never leaving me and never forsaking me, as Jesus promised...

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.��
Hebrews 13:5

I know that others in my life will fail me, but You never fail me...

Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord, the Lord himself,
is the Rock eternal.
Isaiah 26:4

Your love has transformed my heart and my life.

Please continue to mold me to be more like You.

I will lean on You as I go forth with my day.

I love You. Please call me to Your purpose. I know that I can trust You to cause all things to work together for my good...

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28

My Lord Jesus, I believe in You and I desire that you would flow through me, as You taught us...

He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
John 7:38

Thank You for loving me, for healing me and for giving me a future and a hope...

to give you a future and a hope.

Holy Week: Holy Tuesday!

Jesus teaches in parables and delivers the Olivet Discourse.

~ Mark 11:27-12:44

And they came again to Jerusalem.
And as he was walking in the temple,
the chief priests and the scribes and
the elders came to him, and they said
to him,”By what authority are you doing
these things, or who gave you this
authority to do them?��

Jesus said to them, "I will ask you
one question; answer me, and I will
tell you by what authority I do these
things. Was the baptism of John from
heaven or from man? Answer me.��
And they discussed it with one
another, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,��
he will say, ‘Why then did you not believe
him? ‘But shall we say, ‘From man��?��

- they were afraid of the people, for they
all heard that John really was a prophet.
So they answered Jesus, “We do not know.��
And Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell
you by what authority I do these things.��

It's a chilly 37 degrees here in west Michigan this morning, but sunny.

We have haircut appts at noon, and then going to do a little shopping.

I will try and be on for a while when we get back. I just wanted to get a couple of shares in before we go.

We have our eye appts tomorrow morning and then I have my entyvio

treatment on Thursday afternoon.. busy, busy this week.

Good morning friend, here is today's prayer...

Dear Lord God,

You are unchanging.

And You are all knowing.

You are faithful and true, and You are the rock upon which I build my life..

Thank You for Your rock-solid foundation for my life, my Lord Jesus Christ...

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine,
and does them, I will liken him to a wise man
who built his house on the rock..
Matthew 7:24

Please help me to...

…be content with what [I] have,
because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you."
Hebrews 13:5

In You, I find all that I need...

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
