St. John¡¯s Market
A combination green grocers and general goods shop, St. John¡¯s Market used to be the original storage depot. It is a rectangular building made of stone and steel with a low ceiling, long plexiglass windows, and a double door that whooshes up whenever someone stands on the pressure plates on either side of it.
It was used for several different purposes before being turned into a greengrocer and general store by Love St. John. The St. John family own a farm about 10 miles outside of town. They had been traveling to the nearest town of Glastontor to sell their produce. It was tiring, so Love decided to find a place to sell their produce in Brea, and from there it grew into a thriving business.
Love built a second storey extension so he could live above his business. It is made of wood with a few salvaged solar panels, and some more plexiglass windows. It is a rather generous living space with two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, living area, and a small study.
