I'm probably going to go in April to names, but just wanted to know if
there's a show like NAMES in central Ontario.



Or some sort of manufacturing type trade show around.

Just last week there was the welding/finishing show in TO at Expo
Place. Next Sept? should be the machinery show at the same
location. Watch www.reedexpo.com for upcoming events.

Full-fledged manufacturing shows which come to mind are CMW (Canadian
Manufacturing Week) at the International Centre in Toronto (see
), and SOIS (Southern Ontario Industrial Show) in
Kitchener (see ) although it looks like the
next one is not until 2004...

The reedexpo web site might list other shows in the area too.

Darn. The Canadian Machine Tool Show was just last week in Toronto!

I don't know of anything like NAMES in the area (though I would like to...)

The closest thing would seem to be the Hobby show at the International
Center in T.O. Nov 8-9-10.

The Toronto Miniature Engineering club is _always_ there with their
projects and last year (?) there was a couple small home made CNC rigs.
BTW, the scale Ferrari built in Meccano was pretty cool also......;'>
