Fusion 360 is by Autodesk, same people as Autocad.? You can import
your old DXF files, or Mesh files? or SVG files if you like.??? Once
you see how this works, you won't need Autocad , do your
CAD in Fusion 360 , switch to Manufacture and generate your Gcode.
Start here maybe you will see what you have been missing. :-)????
Lars? is a great teacher, works for Autodesk , many videos.?? This
is Beginners #1

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the quick
response.? I liked KCam because I could import dxf files from
AutoCad and it would generate and run the g-code to my CNC.? I
guess I don't have to panic quite yet--just when I run into a
problem with KCam.? In the mean time I will be looking into
what else is available.? I had not run across Fusion 360 but
will certainly check it out.
Thanks again for the
response!

Hobbiest.??? There are many and I mean many Youtube
tutorials for what ever level you might want to do.??
CAD with Built in CAM,? 2D, 2-1/2D and 3D.????? You
might start out looking? at lessons from?? NYCNC
starting with the basic but there are others as well.

I am a very recent addition to this forum (Today).?
I am posting because I just discovered that Kellyware is
no longer exists.? Does anyone know when he shut it down
and why?? I have been using it for close to 20 years and
in a panic.? I am using his Max32 USB control board and
have had really good results.? Any suggestions on a
replacement software?? I liked KCam because it was very
affordable.? Been retired for 20 years and would hate to
give up my CNC hobby!
Thanks,
Fred
