That is not a Linux task. Use Arduino software, IIRC called
Arduino IDE. There is plenty of info on the Arduino site.
Other than using the Raspberry Pi, I have done this, just on an
old windows machine. Make sure your drivers match the current
requirements of your steppers. The little square plug in drivers
on the GRBL shield are likely too small. The hardware and software
for 3D printing may be useful to you as well. Look up RAMPS 1.4.
What your trying to do is possible, with the right hardware.

360 works. ?One problem is i don't understand Linux
enough. ?So when I saw online instructions saying I need
to flash the Arduino, I had to ask what that meant. ?When
I found out it was sending an Arduino binary to the
Arduino board, I don't know how to ask Linux to do that,
or any of the other steps needed to run a file of G-codes.
So, how do I proceed? ?Thank you.?
