Need 1 pf cap
Need one 1.0 pf ceramic disc capacitor low volts (<15 vdc) with .250"(6.4 mm) or less. Would accept two if you have a bunch but need just one. -- 73 Karl KI4ZUQ

270pf and 180pf capacitor swap on QMX

I decided to make the swap on my early version QMX which had these caps reversed in position in the instructions. The easiest and safest way is to clip the leads and replace them. Anybody have 270pf and 180pf caps? They are parts C525 and C516 on the parts list and described as 50v, multilayered ceramic capacitors, NPO/COG Class-I RF dielectric. Sandy KB3EOF

I managed to damage R522 on the lower right corner of my QMX while removing the right angle BNC connector. The resistor is labelled 68X or maybe X89 and is 49.9 Ohms. The BNC broke its center pin while I was removing a jumper cable (!!!). It broke right in the middle of the metal casing so had to be removed. My address is good on QRZ.com. I haven't heard of this happening before so it can't be that common. The BNC is flattened on the top and is not readily found at least by me. If anyone is willing to part with the resistor and/or BNC I can pay ;) Or if a mouser/digikey etc part number is known I can add to this list. 73 Sandy KB3EOF

All: I bought a QMX at FDIM (#6) but haven't started to build it yet. I'm waiting to get the T41 project done. In the meantime, I have a boatload of SMD caps and resistors if you are missing some. All are 1206 size, so may be too large for some of the parts. Message me privately on QRZ. Jack, W8TEE

Welcome!
I was trying to get a QMX kit transceiver to work recently and discovered an SMD capacitor missing. Rick, NF6G sent me about five to get me going! He simply taped them to a piece of paper and mailed them in an ordinary envelope. This groups.io site is the nature of his gesture. My next message will be a list of components I have on standby for any of you needing "just that one part" to get you going! Now, most of mine are from Amazon so I will indicate such and let you decide. Maybe the actual measured value should be posted as well. These are not Tier One parts. This whole idea will be changing as each one of you will undoubtedly have better ideas than me! 73 Karl KI4ZUQ
