Dear All,

At last, I've found some time to process a part of the moon images taken last August 6 with the C14 and the Basler 1920-155 camera :

Tycho :


Deslandres :

Dear Christian,

I always look forward to your solar and lunar images. They simply takes one's breath away.

Next summer I'll set up my 12" cass and have a go. I use my C14 edge for ongoing photometry projects.

Look forward to more.

My observing site is 1500 m high. The seeing was relatively good, although not perfect. Video cameras and processing software are doing now a very good job.

Hi Christian,

The Cassagrain is of a classical design originally made by AE astronomical equipment (UK) on it's original gem. Bought it 2nd hand a couple of years ago for planetary imaging which I intended to take up once my major observatory was set up.
