JMI electric focuser for C14 Edge?

 

First, thanks to all for previous answers to my various questions.

Is anyone here using a JMI electric focuser for the C14? Any thoughts?

Again, thanks in advance for any replies.

The JMI Motofocus didn't work with my EdgeHD 14. It just got stuck all the time and could not turn the knob.

What works very well is Rigel Systems nFocus For Celestron CPC & HD.

It's electrically plug compatible. Or if you want to use their controller, works even better.
 

For my C14 HD I have a used JMI Crayford NGF-S Focuser I purchased from Don Rothman. It's been solid overall, but I'm sure there are far better focusing systems available for our scopes.

Hopefully soon I'll upgrade.

Dan, I can't find an assembly manual on the Rigel site. Is that focuser an easy install on the Edge HD 14?

It is very easy to install.
