Bob, please explain how you reach f/5 with a C14.? The Celestron focal reducers I have used have been either 0.63 or 0.7

Hi Mike, When I collimate my C14, I start with the image well out of focus. I then use the secondary to put the shadow in the center of the image. If it already looks centered, don’t believe it!

Had a Meade re-tubed with the same problems so I took it back. The third set of optics are amazingly sharp. Had to really insist something was wrong but they did finally take care of it.
