The roach is not dead! Removing it without first killing it might be difficult (It runs behind the mirror as soon as it is disturbed).

Don't use any chemicals. Instead, check the instruction manual for info on how to remove the corrector plate. Remove the roach, then replace the plate with all possible care. Just my advice.
