Help with pittman motor

I have a 13V 8000 series pittman servo motor with a 207:1 Gear Ratio (I think) 250 CPR that has started drawing about 1.3A and is running really slow.
Anyone have this problem that might know how to cure? I 'suspect' a magnet? or field coil came unstuck from the case, but would like any ideas before trying to disassemble it. This is actually on a Celestron Nexstar 8i, but I have about 8 other Pitman 8000 motors that I have experimented with with my sitech 1 controller and made a 10" dob <?/g/Sitechservo/album?id=100077?> system.
I guess I'll be able to fix it eventually, from motor swapping parts, but I'm at Starfest in Ontario, and am hoping to fix it today or tomorrow.
IDEAS???

Jupiter - 08-30-22

This is my first image taken with my new Player One Saturn - M SQR camera. It has a larger pixel size (3.76 microns) and I believe it mates well with the C14. This was taken at a focal length of around 8000mm. I also experimented with some new processing techniques and borrowed heavily from Damian Peach's masterful?

Wow Brian! I do most of my imaging with a C14 at f5 but after seeing your Jupiter, I may start doing planets!

This data set, consisting of two RGB images taken over three minutes was taken under very good conditions. Actually, some of the best seeing I have experienced in a very long time:

I did actually re-process in Pixinsight and slightly increased the sharpening.

Is there any processing you can apply to sharpen it further?

Here is a combination of two RGB images taken over six minutes under good seeing:

Thanks Bob! I was at maybe f/25 with my CC14. I use the ZWO ASI 290M camera. I capture with FireCapture and use Autostakkert 3 to align and stack. I then use Registax 6 for wavelets with final processing (deconvulusion) with PixInsight and resizing and final touches in Photoshop.

Very well-done Brian!
What was the focal length and the camera used?
How was the image processed??

Nice Brian, I'm a galaxy imager, but I do love these planetary images, it makes me remember how special our own planet is. Thanks for sharing.

Mostly average seeing this night, but I managed two decent data sets:

Re: CGX-L Group?

Ajay,

It doesn't look like there is a group.io for CGX-L owners.? I own one and would be willing to join the group and/or try to answer questions you might have.? Celestron hosts a customer blog and a good FAQ which I have used in the past but I have also relied upon their technical support team and the retailer from whom I purchased the mount.

CGX-L Group?

Hello,

Is there a CGX-L group somewhere? I am facing a problem with my CGX-L mount.

Thank You
