Revelstoke Derailment/Collision Friday

All I have heard from the general media is that one train ran into the back of the other. In this day and age, it seems a strange event. I'm guessing that perhaps there were other factors. Brian Hume All Messages By This Member #67619 All I know from our safety briefing at work is that one train, the coal train struck the tail end of a stopped grain train (301) after passing a restricting signal. Unconfirmed reports of a serious injury to one of the crew members.
