Trip to Canadian Pacific Facilities at Saint John, and McAdam, New
Brunswick-February-1958. Part #2
Continued.
From Saint John, N.B to McAdam, N.B.
Thank you Mr. Scott. I am living near Florenceville NB, which would have
been part of the North Line (Woodstock Branch) which is now abandoned and
has become a ski doo trail. Many of the original bridges still exist and a
group in Bristol, NB have preserved some passenger equipment. I have been
planning a layout based on this area. I lived for 16 years in Saint John, NB
and passed by the old Lancaster Yard everyday on the way to work. This line
to Maine is now owned by NB Southern. Your information will be invaluable to
me as I build my motive power roster. I have recently taken pictures of the
existing Aroostook NB CPR station which I will post on my website.
