Flying B units

Chris Davidson

Hey Jim,

That's pretty good! I hope to catch them out around Seebe, but it will
probably be dark by the time they roll through.

Hi Gang:

A postscript to my earlier message:

I was curious to see if the 1400 and 1900 had arrived Revelstoke BC yet. I
just traced them on CP's tracing page.

The 9600 1400 and 9545 all arrived Revelstoke at 1100 but the 1900
(according to CP's trace page) has made a remarkable flight across most of
central Canada and is shown on a transfer (TRSF 27) at Toronto. I hope our
country's air traffic controllers were advised in advance to expect a
flying F9B painted in grey and tuscan red.

Now if CP could just get wings onto the A unit and several of the business
cars they could offer a most extraordinary service to their well heeled
corporate customers.

Long live Canadian Pacific Airlines!!!!

Have they corrected the type style and lettering errors on the 1400 yet? How
is the 1900 painted?
