Malcolm provided numbers for units in the 83XX series.

CN has 8300-8310 model SD75IACC.

I can assume the units I saw on video are the same model.

And on reflection, the units, in tow, were heading west.

CN has had 50 on order from Progress Rail, AC rebuilds of SD75i, for some time, until recently progress has been slow. Perhaps production problems in the conversions, or whatever caused the slow delivery has been solved and the balance are starting to appear rapidly.? Nine units heading west at Elkhart Indianna are in yesterday's Virtual Railfan Grab Bag video and are certainly of this series, with possibly different numbers to those that I quoted.? (The numbers are not clear unfortunately)
