Re: Stratford-Mac. Yard
Cn runs the following on the Guelph sub:
568 7 days a week ex Kitchener for Stratford London (hcl) and points in between. 540 7 days a week ex Kitchener for Guelph Acton and Kitchener cpr interchange. 542 Sunday to Thursday Galt to Guelph turn with work in both towns 566 elmira turn as required ex Kitchener at night. Sometimes goes to Guelph or elsewhere as needed. Some jobs/crews are known to make unusual moves as required by Trainmaster such as 568 or 540 or 566 to Guelph to work a customer. The Kitchener terminal still operates like a Shortline. All above jobs are GEXR union agreement That guarantees these employees all rights to work customers on former GEXR territory. They cannot work into London proper for example. 533 runs Toronto to Kitchener turn with Toronto crews about 4 days a week at night. Rare daylight extras sometimes using GEXR crews too There are no jobs based out of Stratford but i am sure there have been crews called to taxi to Stratford to rescue a job. That is essentially how it works subject to change (it has changed a lot in last 2 years) |

Intermodal Q147
开云体育
Been seeing an intermodal thru Burlington around noonish for
the past week or so and just assumed the time had changed for Q149.
Coming off the Halton Sub. and onto the Oakville Sub. Last few days been hearing it being referred to as Q147. Where does Q147 originate? Not listed in my CTG 2018. Is it recent? And is Q149 still running. Doug Renshaw Burlington, ON. |
Stratford-Mac. Yard

Back in the GEXR days, they ran trains 431 and 432 between the
subject line locations. Does CN run similar trains, with the same designator? Or do the Mac trains originate and terminate in Kitchener? I assume they are night trains to keep the line clear for GO. Doug Renshaw Burlington, ON. |
