Thankful this year for so many things, and glad to be present. Hubby went to the hospital again today via ambulance and praying he will be back home again soon. Praying the bed he needs that can be raised 30% so he can breath easier is here soon (we've been waiting now almost six weeks). He is very frustrated at giving up any of his independence, but watching him decline has been the most difficult thing I've ever had to do as his wife in the almost 47 years we've been together. Hoping this is one of those trials we make it through together and can look back on and reflect at what we learned from it. Busy week. Wednesday was my husband's 82nd Birthday. A lot of new addition's for his wheelchair to hold his oxygen tank, and surprise visit for Saturday from our youngest daughter, her husband, and her youngest son. Busy, busy getting our home ready for company. The first time Rachael has come to visit us here since we moved in 2009. I'll be resting up from now till then after each day and all that will need to be done. I also will be fitting in all the other things that need completed before my scheduled hand surgery on Oct 24th. I apologize for not many posts the last couple of weeks, caught a cold, and they have rescheduled my carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve release surgery back to October 24th. Can't have so much as a sniffle or it will be cancelled and rescheduled to sometime in December or next year. Doctor orders say rest and get better ASAP. Praying as always, and sure I'll be able to do that. Appreciate and thank so many of you for you prayers, best medicine there is. It will be so nice after the surgery and PT, I'll be finally be able to use my left hand equally with my right again. Work will go faster, and using my wheelchair and walker will be so much better.
