My husband is still having a rough time with his hand due to his fall in May of the unsafe

walkway into our apartment, landlord refusing to make more safe, so I still pray neither of us go off the edge again.? He had hand surgery on Thursday, so hope that finally he can heal and rest.

Prayer Request Update:

Thanks so much for those that gave prayers up for this request.? No hospital yet. New antibiotic and follow-up appointment instead, so continue prayers that this antibiotic does the job.? Praise the Lord!? He was able to come home, and we await further exam and lab results.? It's definitely, been a week of faith testing issues.? Still no help or solution to the tougher problem of the overflow of possessions in boxes in storage. In the end affording a move is going to a hardship. Hopefully, soon.

We walked among the crosses
Where our fallen soldiers lay.
And listened to the bugle
As taps began to play.

The Chaplin led a prayer
We stood with heads bowed low.
And I thought of fallen comrades
I had known so long ago.

They came from every city
Across this fertile land.
That we might live in freedom.
They lie here 'neath the sand.

I felt a little guilty
My sacrifice was small.
I only lost a little time
But these men lost their all.

Now the services are over
For this Memorial Day.
To the names upon these crosses
I just want to say,

Thanks for what you've given
No one could ask for more.
