zBitx restarting when doing FT8, at Transmit time

 

I have tried different power supplies, all capable of more than 3 amp. Same results.
Tried reducing Drive down to 65, that appears to work, but at 70 it resets the Pi consistently.
It does it very quickly, so not temperature related.
Any suggestions?

Had a similar issue with my Bitx V6.? Found that I had some RF coming back on the coax shield from my end fed antenna.? Just had to make a few turns in the antenna coax and tape them together tightly to form a coil to reduce the RF.
 

I agree with Gordon; RFI is the first assumption I would make. Testing? this could be a simple matter of attaching a coax isolator in line, or making several turns through a large Mix-31 toroid (easy with RG-316, not so easy with RG-213). Another possibility is that any attached USB cable could pick up RF during transmit; testing this can be as simple as unplugging any USB cabling or the same aforementioned wrap-around of the USB cable through a large toroid.?
