Other end looks good, but thanks for the heads up. I think pigtail was stripped too aggressively. ?A little liquid electrical tape and as good as new.? Ed
Maybe your batteryholder does have the same problem like mine in that the poles at the other end where not connected together also. Easy fixed with soldering in a wire.
Point of caution! Noticed the battery pigtail has bare wires exposed probably when stripping outer insulation. Could short if wires twisted. ?Easy to fix however .?
