Since you replaced the Raduino board, the issue is most likely the BFO and frequency calibration.? Here is a video from Ashhar Farhan on how to calibrate the V6.


The one issue is that the BFO Tuning aid no longer works.? Instead, use a PC-based Audio Spectrum Analyzer.? The red lines on the BFO Tuning Aid are 300 Hz and 3000 Hz.? Here are two possible free downloads:

I assumed that you were using the stock firmware.? In addition to the KD8CEC firmware, did you change the display to a Nextion?? ?The KD8CEC firmware only works with a character display or the Nextion.? If you have converted the display to a Nextion, you can get to the settings through the "Yellow Box."? This comes up if you press and hold the encoder.? Once it is up, you rotate the encoder until the Settings selection and press it again.? The box disappears, and you need to press the encoder again.? Then, turn the encoder past the Exit selection, and the calibration and BFO selections appear.? Press on the one you want.

I bought a second-hand radio equipped with a Nextion display and do not know what firmware was loaded. I loaded the KD8CEC firmware but did not know how to use the setup function. Thanks to your support I found the BFO setup and I am trying to calibrate the radio. Thanks a lot.

BTW. Is there a calibration for an encoder? That installed on the radio is not precise, when I set the freq step for 100Hz, and rotate the encoder one step forward or backward the freq changes by 200, 300 sometimes 400Hz.

There is no configuration setting for the encoder.? I suspect it is a detent encoder.? Those seem to have issues when the pulse is on a detent.? Look for an encoder without detent in the 12 to 18 PPR steps.
