uBitX, connector specs

Hello,?
I wonder if anybody could help me with following questions. I have ordered uBitX and would like to ready to go once I get it set up.? 1) I assume audio in and audio out jacks are 3.5 mm. Are they mono or stereo, two or three conductor? 2) Can I use audio out to connect to PC mic in? How are you doing digital modes? 3) Power jack size, 2.1 mm, 2.5 mm? Assuming center positive as usual. I appreciate all inputs on these, thank you! Tapio OH2EYY |

Tapio I¡¯m sure by now somebody has told you but if not all the connectors and controls (volume control) are included. I can¡¯t answer you question about the digital mod hookup except that it should be similar to PSK.

Headphone and microphone jacks are 3.5mm, stereo. They have 5 pins, so include internal switches to select a speaker when phones are not used, if that's of interest. Yes, you can use audio out from the headphone jack to connect to a computer sound card or digital modes. There are various ways to do this:? ?? Power jack is 2.1mm, center pin positive. A 2.1mm power plug for the end of your power supply cable is also provided with the kit. This might be confusing to some, I had to think about it for a couple minutes:

>? Tapio I¡¯m sure by now somebody has told you but if not all the connectors and controls (volume control) are included. This should be read with a long pause after the "not": "Tapio I¡¯m sure by now somebody has told you but if not: ? ? All the connectors and controls (volume control) are included." ?? Includes the encoder used for tuning. And board mounting hardware (standoffs and screws) And cables with connectors or all wires going into the main board and Raduino And a BNC jack for the antenna. And 3.5mm stereo mike an headphone jacks And a microphone element and a rather small PTT switch with which to build a microphone A few resistors and a diode. Oh, and a uBitx board and Raduino board with display. No knobs, The shaft on the volume pot is 4mm, which makes finding a knob difficult. The shaft on the encoder is 6mm, so takes a standard knob for a 1/4" shaft.
