Hi all,

I just installed the N8ME firmware with VU3GAO mod and now I need to do calibration. I cannot find any guide to do calibration of uBitx with N8ME firmware. Can anyone help me ?

Ashok,

Try the method given in this manual for the N8ME software.? There is a section in the CFG menu for frequency and BFO calibration on page 8.

? I would suggest using the general method in this video:


The three steps are still valid:
1 - Adjust the BFO to be able to hear the low frequencies
2 - Zero beat the known AM signal
3 - Adjust the BFO for the best voice response

The HFSignals Tuning Aid is still an excellent tool to help with the BFO adjustment.
