Stuck in transmit

 

My uBitx v6 was working fine - running half watt on ft8
using SignaLink and laptop. Suddenly it's stuck in
transmit, several watts, whenever powered on.
Any ideas appreciated, as I start to look at the
schematic and ponder what to test in the circuit.

I occasionally have run into a situation where the V6 is left in transmit mode, but no actual signal is being transmitted because the laptop locked up.? ?In my case it appears there is an issue with RF getting into the laptop, which I'm still trying to track down.? Recycling power on both laptop and radio resets things.??

If your v6 is actually transmitting after you power up , does it do it with the signalink disconnected from the radio ?? If so, then it would seem that multiple simultaneous failures in the radio would need to have occurred.? Maybe a massive failure of the I/O lines in the Arduino that control transmit, cw mode and key ?

Thanks! I thought I tested it after restart of computer, with same
"always on" result, but today after I disconnected and reconnected
and restarted everything, the uBitx seems back to normal. Whew!
