Si5351 voltage output #arduino

Hello,
This is my first time that i'm asking for a help,
When i generate a sweep signal (40MHz-70MHz) with si5351A, the voltage output decrease from 3v ppk to 0v5 ppk.
please? how can i resolve this problem ????

You might want to try this group, as it is more into sweeping frequencies with the Si5351.??

The equipment there is the HFSignals Antuino designed by Ashhar Fahran ( a really cool device that I do recommend).??HFSignals Web Page:

Hi,

I wonder what you are using to measure the output.

I'm using a small? DIGITAL STORAGE OSCILLOSCOPE .

What is the bandwidth specified for the scope. The scope will already be down 3DB at that frequency, and the waveform will start looking more like a sine wave because the scope won't have the bandwidth to show the edges.

What is the scope probe you are using? Unless it is a 10:1 probe rated for must above the 70Mhz it will start to drop the signal strength. Scope probes when in the 1:1 setting only have a few Mhz bandwidth. They need to be in the 10:1 setting to get the specified bandwidth.

Do you group owner, please ban me and remove me from this group someone has hijacked my address, and is apparently Spamming the group with useless trash. So sorry this is happening I am not sure how they managed to do so, my deepest apologies to the group, particularly for all the good things that they do for the hobby.

Right Mr Tom , i'm using 1:1 scope probe, and the bandwidth specified for the scope is 20MHz.

Hi,

There is also the question of the load and it's bandwidth. I got bit by all of those "features" decades ago.

There might be a simpler way.? With your permission I would like to place your ID on MODERATION.? That way?
if the offender sends a spoofed message it might be possible to do a back-trace on the message and take?
appropriate action.??

Placing your ID on MODERATION may introduce a slight delay in posting of messages.? Other than that you?
would not notice that the control has been put in place.? ? After a suitable period of time the moderation flag
could be removed and you would be back to normal.? This may be preferable to having you totally remove?
your history, etc. and start with a new ID.??

If you are using a 20MHz oscilloscope for measuring the 40-70MHz square wave, you are more likely seeing the loss in the amplifier gain in the scope than genuine drop in si5351 output.
This might be a place where a simple voltage probe with a fast shottky diode detector would work.
