sBitx v2 HDMI Resolution?

Patrick Chicas

I am trying to match up high-resolution with small size for an external monitor. What resolution can the Pi4 produce via the HDMI ports?

Thank you.

The Pi4 can do 4K resolution over HDMI, but I don't know how much processor that takes and how much is available after the SDR processing.

Thank you.

I am trying to stay in the 19" diagonal format at 1600x900 pixels.

I"m running A Pi4-D (4GB)? using Rasbian and it seems to do very well?
running streaming video? to a 50" 4K display.? Don't forget it has a
GPU to help with that.? Overall load is low less than 15-20%.

The Sbitx screen is low level usage as the only medium volume traffic
stream is the waterfall.

I have used 1024x600 on a Pi, although that was in a stand-alone configuration and not with an SBIT.? I was also using a Pi with 8 GB of memory.? This display was in addition to the Pi's standard display.
